Case Study 1 – Creigau 2023

Measuring  5m x 2.9m this Lugarde Log Cabin provides the perfect space to both exercise and relax.  Insulated floor and roof help keep the building cosy in Winter and cool in the heat of the Summer months.

One of the main features of the cabin are the 3m wide timber framed sliding doors. These Double glazed units can be opened wide, and in conjunction with the two top hung windows provide welcome ventilation when needed. Doors and windows have been factory treated with a Black Grey paint finish.

With the standard 19mm floor and roof boards and 44m thick wall boards, this building is built to last, using the highest quality timber.

We had a Lugarde log cabin installed in our garden 18 months ago by Eden, and we
couldn’t be happier with the result. From the very beginning, their team provided invaluable

Case Study 2 – Llandaff 2024

The Prima System uses an unique construction method, where the wall boards are slid into the corner posts, without nails or screws. Aluminium inserts in the corner posts ensure that the building is exceptionally stable. These also provide  a sleek, contemporary style to the building.

Incorporating 28mm thick wall boards, painted to the highest standards in a crisp white finish, this building is the perfect garden getaway. Double doors and floor to ceiling Casement windows mean that during the Summer months the building can be opened fully. All windows and doors are double glazed units and are finished in a contemporary Factory finished Dusty Grey.

The roof is covered in a tough and durable EPDM rubber material, ensuring that the building remains protected and waterproof for many Years to come.

Case Study 3 – Kenfig Hill 2024

Constructed using the Lugarde Log Cabin System, this building measures 3.4m x 2.5m with a ridge height of 2.5m. Incorporating 44mm thick wall boards for an extremely sturdy construction, Lugarde’s Log Cabins are also available in 28mm, 68mm and even 90mm thick wall boards.

The Double Glazed double doors  are no less than 6cm thick and come with a 3 point locking system as standard. The  tall fixed windows provide plenty of natural light.  Both are factory painted in a Clean bright white. 

The walls are Pre treated in a light grey to provide initial protection and an efficient base coat for future paint treatments.

A durable EPDM roof membrane ensure that the cabin is kept dry in all conditions.

The cabins appeared to better quality than others we had looked at in various cabin outlets. With advice from the staff of Eden landscapes we ordered a cabin.

It arrived on schedule and was delivered by Dutch haulage company, the driver was a pleasure to deal with. The assembly crew arrived slightly late but had travelled the width of the country to get to us, they check the delivered packs then carried all the components around the house to the site for the cabin and by the time they left that day the cabin was almost complete. They returned the following day and finished off the installation, cleaned up the site and were on their way by 11:30. Well within the two days we were quoted.  We are more than happy with the finished product, is a far superior product than others that we viewed, and we have had several neighbours comment how good in looks in quality and colour.  We would highly recommend this company.

Case Study 4 – Lisvane 2024

Built to withstand all weathers, and using 68mm thick wall boards, this Lugarde Log Cabin measures   6.2m x 2.9m. This garden workshop has insulated floor and roof, helping to keep it warm in Winter and Cool in the Summer months.

An additional wall board (optional) gives an impressive eave height of 2.4m, and the overall  height, a smidge over 3m. Topped with durable Black Felt Shingles, this building has Ultra long lasting and durable Galvanised Steel Guttering and Down pipes, adding a high quality finishing touch.

All Lugarde buildings can be configured to countless combinations, allowing you to choose the right size, shape, construction system, fixtures and colour that best suits your needs and personality.   

We bought a Bentley Supreme Shed from Eden which was erected in summer 2021.

We still needed a garden building to act as a workshop and store.  We investigated a number of suppliers of potentially suitable buildings and chose Lugarde from Eden.

The selling points for Lugarde were:-

• the ability, on their website, to select the size and design details including windows, door and roof. 
• The choice of timber wall thickness, roof and floor insulation.
• The quality of timber used and window and door fittings.
• The fact that all parts were transported direct from the Latvian factory to our home and unloaded onto our parking area.

In advance we had contracted a local builder to construct a reinforced concrete base slab.  Eden then erected the Lugarde building on to this base in June 2022.

We painted the external timber walls with two coats of a suitable paint.

We have been very happy with this building.

Case Study 5 – Dinas Powys 2024

Measuring 4.2m x 2.4m this Lugarde Garden Building provides the perfect getaway. Tucked neatly at the bottom of our clients garden, it provides the ideal spot to relax and exercise.

Key features of this Lugarde Prima System building are it’s 44mm thick wall bords, insulated floor and roof, factory painted Dusty Grey finish. Large Casement Windows and double doors can be fully opened connecting the building with it’s surrounding environment.

However the outstanding feature of this building is the Pyramid Roof. This hipped roof creates a beautiful, high ceiling, adding space and character to the interior.

Black felt shingles and an all metal cowl, topped off with round Stainless Steel Finials add that finishing touch to this modern, contemporary garden room.

Eden purposely positioned our Summerhouse to give us great views and an additional focal point in the garden.  The Summerhouse is well made, expertly constructed with an attractive architectural internal ceiling and very peaceful with the double-glazed windows and insulation.

We use the summerhouse in all four seasons of the year whether for socialising, reading, exercising, watching wildlife, listening to music or just enjoying a beautiful quiet space. We have added a fan when we are exercising in the winter and an oil radiator to be extra cosy when we listen to music in the evenings with the garden lights twinkling!
